| Term | Meaning |

| INIT | Initial trading phase — token freshly created, AMM open, no battle yet. |
| QUEUE | Token has raised ≥ 5 ETH and is waiting to be matched. Trading frozen. |
| WARMUP | Bracket is locked, trading still frozen, public countdown before R1. |
| BATTLE | Active fight — 4 rounds, deterministic 6h cadence. |
| RESTING | The 5h cool-down portion of a round. Trading open, score frozen. |
| ELIMINATED | Cut mid-battle. Trading frozen, ETH escrowed until finalize. |
| GRADUATED | Winner state. LP locked in-protocol, mint disabled, freely tradable. |
| LOST | A loser at finalize. Holders can burn-to-claim winner tokens. |
| Cutoff | The instant at the end of a trade window when bottom-ranked tokens are eliminated. |
| Bracket size (M) | How many tokens entered the battle (2–10). |
| Cut size | How many tokens are eliminated in a given round, given the current bracket size. |
| Wide LP | Post-grad two-sided LP funded by winner ETH. |
| Wall LP | Post-grad single-sided LP funded by all loser ETH — acts as buy support. |
| Ratio | Loser → winner conversion rate, snapshotted at the loser’s elimination. |
